There has been no let up in violence between Israeli forces and Palestinian youths.
In the West Bank town of Tulkarem several demonstrators were injured on Sunday night as Israeli troops fired live rounds at crowds throwing rocks and Molotov cocktails.
The anger sparked by the death of the Palestinian teenager Mohammed Abu Khdeir was evident.
One Palestinian protester said: “We are standing with the martyrs, our battle with Israel is long and on going. We say to Netanyahu, we will bring you down as we did before with Ehud Barak in the second Intifada.”
The injured were taken to the local hospital.
Many of those who had turned up to confront Israeli troops said they had been summoned via social media sites, claiming it was reminiscent of the so-called Arab Spring movements.
Reporting for euronews Mohammed Shaikhibrahim, said:
“The protesters here are insisting on continuing the protest, resisting the Israeli attacks on the West Bank and calling on Palestinian security forces to remove restrictions and allow them to reach the Israeli border.”
