SCRIPT

A face-off between anti-immigrant protesters and immigrant supporters happened outside Murrieta's US Border Patrol facilities on Monday, with a verbal skirmish over who has the 'right' to reside in the USA taking place.

Police officers put barriers of tape between both sides in attempts to pacify the dispute, but confrontations resumed over the current immigration situation, which has seen at least 181,000 undocumented adult immigrants entering through the border from central America since January 1, 2014.
