Registration of the Internally Displaced People (IDPs) from North Waziristan continued in Bannu and Peshawar for the third day on Wednesday. The affectees have also been provided with mobile SIM cards, Dunya News reported. Peshawar and Bannu are inundated with IDPs that have suffered through the adversities of migration to accomplish the dream of a better, peaceful Pakistan. Process of registration has continued for the third day at the Government College of Management Sciences where the IDPs from the district Mir Ali are being registered. Two hundred families have yet been registered in Peshawar. Mobile SIM cards are also being given to ensure acquisition of assistance. Meanwhile IDPs are being registered in Bannu. The number of registered IDPSs has reached 8 lac whereas the monetary assistance that was catered to the IDPs in Bannu has been temporarily suspended which will resume after the SIM cards are activated.
