This is the second time this year that tragedy has struck Malaysia Airlines.
While reports suggest the flight MH17 was shot down near the Ukraine Russia border the reasons behind the first crash, in March, remain a mystery.
Search and rescue vessels from the Malaysian maritime enforcement agency reached the area where MH370 last made contact but have still seen no sign of wreckage.
Earlier this month, Investigators identified a new search area 1,800km off the west coast of Australia. Work will resume in August and could take up to a year to complete.
