Our operation in Luyten is according to plan, but one of our spies within Luyten ranks has contaced us and assume, that he was detected. So we have to extract him together with some defectors and have to protect them against Coalition forces which want prevent that we get some useful information.
This is the Fighter version of the mission.
Hints:
Order your wingmates all by yourself. Use "Form on my wing" in every non-combat and "Engage all enemies" in a combat situation, because a tight formation is important for the survival of the mission.
Intercept Pisces wing at the first wave, because they have targeted one of the transports.
DO NOT underestimate the Amazon Drones, they are very deadly for you, your wingmates and the transports because of their number. In my experience, it is a matter of luck in this situation on Insane. Do not fly directly towards them as you give the "Engage" order, there are some drones that have targeted you, try to identify them first and use your missiles and your primaries to bring them down even before they can hit you. But it can easily happen, that some drones slip through and bring down one of the transports... or yourself. So be prepared for some restarts here.
After that there are incoming Ezechiels, bring down as much as possible with your missiles before they can use their weapons against you. Every Ezechiel you destroy, will raise your chance of survival significantly.
Stay away from the GTD Kagera, unless you have a working strategy to save the Defector transports. Your ship will be rip apart by those flak guns, also Anti-fighter beams are deadlier in this modification, because they go through shields.
The Kagera do not attack Kemmler's transport, so you can stay away from the destroyer and fight the Myrmidons, if needed, until the Witch Hunter leave the battle area.
Played and recorded by:
Jenna "Novachen" Trassa
Questions and Feedback in German and English would be appreciated, but is also possible in French, Spanish and Chinese, because my sister is able to read and understand it. But do not expect an answer in the same language.
