There are kitty wheels on the market but One Fast Cat claims their version is larger than similar models and will hopefully keep felines entertained for longer periods of time.

Staffers at the company state “Without the need to hunt prey they need other outlets for that pent up energy. It’s good for cats to get some sort of workout and changing it up to keep them interested is important.”

The lightweight wheel can be assembled very quickly. Its designers say the 48" diameter wheel protects a cat’s back and the 10" running tread gives a pet plenty of space to run around.

They also note that the running surface is constructed from closed cell EVA foam to prevent feline claws from scratching it. The open design allows a cat to enter the wheel from either side.

It seems as though kitty lovers approve of the idea. One Fast Cat set a $10,000 goal for the project and has, thus far, raised over 98 grand.
