http://bit.ly/showerliner Installing Your Shower Curtain Liner So you purchased your shower curtain liner and it's been delivered to your doorstep, but now exactly what? To start with, you have to see to it you have everything essential for its use. This includes: a rod (we suggest a stress rod) to hang it up on and shower rings. You can also include an ornamental shower drape, however this is optional. You would be perfectly fine with simply a liner if that's exactly what you select. Take everything out of its packing material, see to it everything will fit together-- examine that the rings will fit through the grommets, that the rod will reach the span of your shower, that the liner and drape are long enough, and so on-- and if something doesn't seem to compare, see to it to swap it out for something that will. Once you understand that everything will fit together, disconnect the rod. When using a stress rod, decide the height at which you want your liner (and possibly curtain) to hang from and place it there by pushing together the two ends, positioning one side and releasing the other end so that it is securely grown against the walls. From here you can easily straighten or reposition the rod to precisely where you want it. Next, you want to connect the rings to your shower curtain liner and shower drape. Align the two so that the grommets and/or holes of each are on top of each other. Push the rings through the holes, one ring to each hole. With your assembled shower curtain liner, shower drape and rings, connect the rings to the stress rod. We discover that the rings made from plastic or metal work best. Single rings are simplest to use, and double rings do not include much benefit unless you have an abnormally heavy liner and drape combination.
