Scientists Peg DNA Decay Rates, Quash Jurassic Park Hopes

Scientists have discovered DNA has a half-life of 521 years, which means it’s completely decayed within 6.8 million years of an organism’s death. What’s more, readable amounts only exist in fossils for some 1.5 million years.
