The Chief Minister Punjab distributed relief goods amongst the North Waziristan IDPs in Bannu.
BANNU (Web Desk) – Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Wednesday arrived in Bannu to celebrate Eid with the internally displaced persons (IDPs) of North Waziristan.
The Chief Minister is accompanied by Governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Sardar Mehtab Abbasi and Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid.
Addressing the IDPs at Bakakhel camp in Bannu, Shahbaz Sharif stated that that he will not rest until completed rehabilitation of the displaced persons.
He said whole nation should move forward to change country’s destiny. He said societies lacking peace, brotherhood and justice cannot progress.
Appreciating army’s role, the Chief Minister said Pakistani troops have rendered countless sacrifices in war against against terrorism. Zarb-e-Azb is a war for existence of Pakistan and it will be won at every cost.
