The reports of rising of political temperature surfaced as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Member of National Assembly (MNA) Hamidul Haq claimed on Saturday that PTI chief Imran Khan has demanded resignations of PTI MNAs just ahead of its heavily campaigned ‘Azadi March’, Dunya News reported.
Hamid said that the resignations will be presented to the party leadership on August 4.
PTI MNA from Peshawar told Dunya News that the resignations were demanded by the party leadership.
He said a meeting of PTI MNAs has been summoned in Islamabad on August 4 and prior to this meeting, a session of PTI’s parliamentary committee will take place where thirty five MNAs will present their resignations.
Hamidul Haq said that PTI members have fully authorized Imran Khan about the decisions regarding the resignations.
