Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrives in Kathmandu, Nepal on two days official visit. Today morning,Prime Minister Narendra Modi departed for a two days official visit to Nepal. Nepal PM Sushil Koirala receives PM Narendra Modi at Tribhuvan International Airport,Kathmandu. Modi will have first bilateral visit by an Indian Prime Minister in 17 years. Modi looks forward to economically unify South East Asian countries. A young Nepali boy named Jeet Bahadur, who was separated from his parents and will be restored to them during Modi’s Nepal tour. Bahadur is travelling with PM Modi.
While departing for Nepal Modi expressed his wish to strengthen bilateral cooperation in key areas, including trade and investment, hydro power, agriculture. In his official schedule Modi will address, business leaders and may also announce economic aid to that country. Modi is expected to push Nepal’s leaders to write their Constitution within a timeframe. He is scheduled to meet Opposition leaders as well.
