STORY: The Teen Choice 2014 Awards were an eclectic evening in Los Angeles where the likes of Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and Selena Gomez shared the stage Sunday night (August 10) at the Shrine Auditorium.
The 2-hour event, hosted by "Modern Family's" Sarah Hyland and "Teen Wolf's" Tyler Posey, is voted for by teen viewers online, giving actors, musicians and other artists who are popular with kids the chance to thank their fans.
Singer Demi Lovato kicked off the evening with her hit "Really Don't Care". The single would later earn the singer the Choice Summer Song honour, as well as the accolade of Female Choice Summer Music Star.
The evening turned emotional when singer Selena Gomez went on stage to accept her honour for the Choice Ultimate Award.
