A man in the Florida Keys has been arrested for allegedly beating his girlfriend after having a dream that she cheated.

A man in the Florida Keys has been arrested for allegedly beating his girlfriend after having a dream that she cheated. According to the victim, her boyfriend Carlos Gascon abused her all day on Friday.

She was only able to call for help at a little before 7 P.M. when Gascon passed out. The victim claimed he choked her, cut the back of her leg with a knife, slammed her through a glass table and poured hot coffee on her.

At one point, Gascon allegedly held a knife to his girlfriend’s throat and threatened to kill her. The victim also said he forcefully pushed the couple’s dog on the floor and put his foot on its neck.

Gascon was arrested and charged with ‘aggravated battery, aggravated assault, domestic battery by strangulation, battery, false imprisonment, and animal cruelty.’ He is currently being held on a $265,000 bond.

It’s unclear at this time if he has an attorney. When police interviewed the victim, she said he became enraged after waking up and dreaming she had had an affair.
