STORY: Pop superstar Lady Gaga arrived at Narita International Airport, near Tokyo, on Tuesday (August 12) to kick off the Asian leg of her world tour, artRave: The ARTPOP Ball.

The American singer, who is estimated to have earned $80 million last year, is performing in Tokyo this Wednesday (August 13) and Thursday (August 14). She will then play one concert in Seoul, South Korea, on Saturday (August 16) before heading Down Under to continue the tour.

Gaga, who is known for her outrageous stunts and provocative costumes, wore a see-through glittery bodysuit, towering white lace-up boots and long white dreadlocks for her Tokyo touchdown.

Carrying a small toy dog in her hand as a substitute for her pet, Asia, who was not allowed into Japan for quarantine reasons, she stopped to speak to fans, many of whom had also dressed up for the occasion in the style of their idol.
