As one starts making the steep descent to Paro airport in Bhutan, one can still see the distant peak of Kanchejunga in Sikkim, India, across a range of ridges. The descent is sudden and the view keeps changing as one rapidly enters Paro valley, with the neat houses and agricultural fields below.

The sunshine is hitting the wing of the plane and reflecting off it.

A bit of snow covers the mountains to the north of the Paro valley.

There is one airport in Bhutan which is at Paro.

Landing at the Paro airport with the gentle, orange rays of the sun - the sun is setting behind the hills of Paro valley in Bhutan.
