'All faith memorial prayer service' for the victim of racism Nido Tania, was held on 15 February 2014 at Jantar Mantar, Delhi. 19-year-old student Nido Tania, son of Arunachal Pradesh Congress MLA and parliamentary secretary in health and family welfare department Nido Pavitra was killed for raising and reacting against the racially coloured remark and taunt. The prayer service is being held to mourn the demise of Late Tania who died after being brutally beaten by shopkeepers at Lajpat Nagar in what is being seen by many as a case of racial discrimination.
