In Gaza City, they're trying their best to get back into routine.

(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) GAZA RESIDENT, SOBHI RIZK, SAYING:

But at least the delicate truce held for a second day, while peace talks continued...although neither the Palestinian or Israeli side gave any indication of progress.
Israeli officials say fighting could resume.
As Gazans try desperately to earn a living, the United Nations is extending a helping hand.... distributing food to needy Palestinians.
A show of support, in the face of ongoing misery and an uncertain future.
