Let us accept this! Mizos are gifted with making something out of a scrap...seen here is an interpretation and creativity made out from bamboos on a Bamboo exhibition event in Aizawl.Several bamboo genus were also displayed on Mizoram Bamboo Day in Aizawl. Bamboo is considered God-gifted green gold, found in abundance in the length and bread of Mizoram. This was observed which basically aims at harnessing the state's rich bamboo resources by promoting bamboo-based local industries. Besides local entrepreneurs, Sikkim Bamboo Mission and Nagaland Bamboo Development Agency also displayed their bamboo products on 20 stalls at the exhibition. Handicraft centre under the state's industries department also performed live demonstration on Mizo cane works.

The capital state as well as the largest city of Mizoram is Aizawl; the center of all important government offices, state assembly house and civil secretariat.Aizawl is also the main religious and cultural centers of the Mizos, the ethnic tribe of Mizoram.The city lies just north of the Tropic of cancer and is located at 3715 feet from the sea level. A birds eye view of the city will sure catch the attention of the beholder.

Some of the notable places once you get to Aizawl city are Mizoram State Museum, Durtlang Hills, Mini Zoo, Bara Bazar, Luangmual Handicarfts Centre and Berawtlang Tourist Complex. Apart from these tourist sites, the nearby tourist attractions are Bung, Paikhai, Tamdil lake, Dampa Wildlife Sanctuary, Kolasib, Vantawng waterfalls, Champhai, Phawngpui, Saiha and Lunglei.
