Referring to sit-ins being staged in Islamabad, Awami National Party (ANP) Chairman Asfandyar Wali Khan Monday said that a drama has been staged in the federal capital in the name of ‘Azadi’ and ‘Inquilab.’

Addressing a press conference here, Asfandyar said that his party doesn't stand by Nawaz Sharif but by the nation’s mandate.

“ANP is with the parliament and it would not support parties of ‘Azadi’ and ‘Inqilab,’ he said.

He said that there is a procedure mentioned in the constitution to remove the prime minister, adding that minus-one formula is not acceptable.
