This is a non dance scene, but I find it quite adorable. Eleanor Powell in the film Broadway Melody of 1936. Her character is denied an audition so she tries again pretending to be a French star from Paris. Here she is practicing her new French accent with the help of a secretary (Una Merkel). Check my other videos, as I uploaded some time ago the routine where she behaves and speaks like a French diva and tap dances A Capella for over 2 minutes, and well, it is a gorgeous, classic tap number.
