Norway aims to solve its prison overcrowding problem by outsourcing inmates to the Dutch.

Under a government proposal 300 Norwegian prisoners are to be sent to serve their sentences in the Netherlands which has spare jail capacity.

Norway apparently has a waiting list for convicted felons before they can serve time!

Norway’s political opposition says the whole idea is too much of a short term solution.
