In Brazil, political parties are intensifying their campaign to win the general elections to be held on October 5. As part of these, Brazilians will vote for the president and vice president of the Republic, 27 state governors, 513 federal deputies, 27 senators and more than 1,000 regional deputies across the country. According to recent polls, a second round of elections might be necessary to determine who will win between current President Dilma Rousseff and right-wing candidate Marina Silva. teleSUR
