The minimalist design of the eco-technological theme combined with the concept of free and clean energy mirrors the underlying pillar of the collection: graphic and pure lines keeping embellishments to a minimum whilst bringing the classic Chanel style in line with contemporary trends of chic and sophisticated minimalism. And yet this doesn't deter Karl from injecting the collection with a hint of humour and witty references: the pearls of the iconic sautoir become metal boules and are scattered on the garments while the chain of the legendary quilted bag becomes a big hula-hoo.
