A hugely popular Rabindra sangeet, sokhi bhabona kahare was composed by Tagore at the age of 19 (1881). Brimming with energy, the young Rabindranath delivered his first public speech sometime around this year. For a major part of 1881, the bard was at Chandan nagar with his brother Jyotirindranath and sister-in-law Kadambari Devi. Memories of these times were to remain with Tagore till the end of his life, inspiring many of the poet's greatest works....
