Whisky.com tastes the South Island 21 years. The whisky comes from the Willowbank distillery in New Zealand. It was the worlds most southern distillery. Unfortunately this distillery has been closed. The New Zealand whisky company bottled the remaining casks as an independent bottler.
The nose:
Fruity and floral, very mild
The taste:
Fruit, dryness, grenadine, some sweetness with no oak.
The finish:
Medium
