On board the Italian Navy ship San Giusto, 774 African migrants arrived in the Southern Italian city of Reggio Calabria, Wednesday.

Of the 774, four alleged smugglers were apprehended by the police and took into police custody for further investigation.

The United Nations Refugee Agency (UNHCR) estimates 75,000 refugees and migrants have arrived in Italy, Spain, Greece and Malta this year. Many come from Palestine, Syria, Libya, and Africa.
