Peru: 300 trade union leaders fired since 2011

During Ollanta Humala's presidential administration, around 300 trade union leaders in private sector companies have been fired, according to the General Confederation of Labor of Peru (CGTP). There are reports of abuses committed against union leaders in the state sector as well. Only 6% of private sector employees are members of a trade union. TeleSUR.
