STORY: Classic French label Mugler started afresh on Saturday (September 27) as newly-appointed Creative Director David Koma presented a monochrome collection of clean lines in his runway debut for the brand. The 28 year-old Georgian found fame with the figure-hugging silhouettes of his eponymous label but was appointed in December 2013 to Mugler - formerly known as "Thierry Mugler" - to give the brand a revamp. In common with other labels, including Dior and Issey Miyake, lots of Koma's Spring/Summer 2015 was white with a paired-down palette, allowing the meticulous tailoring to shine through. But the collection stayed sexy with elasticated metal chains which snaked around the straight-up-and-down silhouettes, encircling cut-out panels revealing the models' hips and chests.
