British band The Defiled have become the first band to play a gig on an iceberg, according to the organisers.
The metal band who hail from London set off from Iceland to land at Kulusuk airport in Greenland where they set sail to head towards their eventual gig venue – an iceberg in the Greenland Sea.
The stunt was part of a series of events called Jagermeister Ice Cold Gig, which is sponsored by the drinks maker and sees artists play in unconventional and freezing conditions.
Previous Jagermeister Ice Cold Gigs have included ex-Busted singer Charlie Simpson breaking a world record by performing in Oymyakon, Siberia in a temperature of -30˚C.
