Philadelphia detectives are trying to find two suspects who allegedly stole a dog. The theft occurred on October 11th.
The victim had tied her dog to a gate outside a store while shopping. One of the female suspects was caught on surveillance footage walking down the sidewalk with a yellow smiley face balloon.
The other woman was inside the same store as the victim. She was captured walking out of the business with a plastic bag in her hand.
Once outside, she met up with the other, balloon-holding female. The women were standing near the dog. After a short time, one of the females untied the pug and started walking across the parking lot with the canine.
They managed to get away before the owner made it out of the store. The suspects are both white.
Police describe the first one as a 20-30 year-old who stands approximately 5’6″. She has a light complexion and brown hair.
At the time of the crime she was wearing a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark colored jacket, jeans, and dark colored shoes. Her accomplice donned a light colored jacket and pants.
