You think that if you tell him, Im going to really care,
All he’s going to do is sit there and watch you pull my hair.
All I am is rebellious in this family of four
You should be thanking God that Im not a whore.
Im normal as every other girl
Who’s supposed to love life as a precious pearl.

You think I am a spoiled little brat
All I do is watch TV and get fat
Open you’re eyes and see
You were just as bad or worse than me!

I am growing up fast, I know you can’t tell
My life is a mess and that aint swell
You want me to listen, pay attention and see
You want to live my life and are taking it away from me.

Part of being young is making a couple mistakes
Causing a lot of pain and little heart aches.
This is the way I am the way I will always be
I will never change or hide the true me.
You may not like the way I am
The fact that I wont study or flunk an exam
But I promise if you would just leave me be
In the future a respected young lady you’ll see!
