Prisms with intellect
Wary of the water
Enticing the past more than I care to explain
A scene unhinged
Severed from history and empty promises
Clouded by uncertainty
Cherish the fate with a loss of sight
Fallen upon the mediocrity of a carpet ride
Shallow yet so deep
My mind is the culprit for levitation
My fantasy dances like a pantomime threaded puppet entincing brokeness
Smile lines worn without a conscience or pride
Lines shown as scars that bled the fifth and turned to grey
Each scar I bear sings
I say more by saying nothing at all...
Tryst the enticing past with the unhindered future
Then you'll know what I mean when I say
I've gained the world, but have NOTHING! ! !
