Don't you hate
The way that things fall apart?
I guess it's fate
Taking a stroll through my heart.
And in the shadows
When it's all dark,
Just close the windows
And picture a spark.
You and I
Were never meant to be;
And though we try
Neither of us can see,
The way that always
We just become
Kids in the hallways
Feeling so numb.
Spread your wings
And fly another way.
Better things
Will soon come everyday.
And though we still want to try,
We can do nothing, but cry..
