Shelves stoop to see inside
The crania beneath;
Cerebral thinking -
The slaughter of reason.
Shuffle wide-eyed
Towards
The natural abode
Of the orang-utan librarian.
Cardiac muscles
Divide and migrate
At the sight
Of the looted throne before you.
Coloured corn-syrup
Trickles
Down a figures’
Left jowl.
Beseech amnesty
In the anomalous;
The guts of sheep
And the eyes of needles.
