shiny leaves against sun
dripping dew to my hand
cool to enjoy like wine
forever stays in mine
so happy sharing with
i refuse to even sleep

i step slowly away; away
leaving my; my gentle gaze
if i could paint my touch
or leave my heart i could
but i have to have with me
to be complete to face a day
