ALMOST A POEM

Almost a poem
The lines are there
But they do not come together-
There is no music in them
And no pleasure-
Awkward, they cannot express the feeling they wish-

Almost a poem- too literal too much a cliché-

I wonder how many ‘almost- poems’ I have written
And if this is another one.
