We 3 Ghosts
Wish we never walked at all
A lovely bouquet of roses
Spells
Doom
For the deceased
And dying
A pampered eulogy
For the reverend's daughter
Sympathy never sang so sweet
Emotions filled the room
Like smog from the eternal factories
Matter-of-factly
Adults talking of death
Made me lean away
From suicide and sainthood
A play for respect
A song for remorse
The girl was a year older than me
I once kissed her on the playground
When I was too small to know of death
And too ignorant to know of life
