Sometimes I am truly amazed at these
Togetherness that is found among the trees
Where one tree or two could have died
Were it not held by another on its side.
A bond of sympathy may have held its arms
In leafy support from burden's harm
Neighboring trees bear each other's form
In snow or to face there the fiercest storm
A lesson for Man of the nobler breed
Is that of togetherness of trees, indeed.
