The sea was calm until it came
Its breath howled through the masts
Its blood and tears spattered the deck with hopeless anger
It threw its fists heavenward sending our toy boat spinning from swell to swell
Its cavernous maw gaped wide, threatening to swallow us whole
Poseidon fumed at his son's pain
And the son attacked with all of his might
His voice was rumbling, booming
Black clouds clashed together above us
Odysseus had mutilated his eye
And for that, the Cyclops
Cried.
