Six parents form one son or daughter
They draw them out from the primordial water
Whether heaven be perfect, or he'll be hotter
In the beginning, we came from water
We are formed by the care of a precious potter
Who needed to move first upon the water
Under many woes we've long forgot her
Evolution or Eve, we came from water
Though empires reign with anarchy & slaughter
And their cities' origins are raised by water
As so their most revered conquering father
Victim or victor, we came from water
Hear the oceans foretell the life of a daughter
The way she's held in the embrace of a devoted father
While surrounded by the truth of how men sought her
And though they most certainly forgot, we, regardless, still came from water
History traces why we have so fought her
Fallen mother, forgotten daughter
Billions of scenes show we raped, burned, hung, crowned, & shot her
Till when in sorrow she is finally drowned, till then it remains, we came from water
