A man who went missing during a Denver Broncos game has been found safe. Paul Kitterman was located in Pueblo, Colorado, more than 100 miles away from where he vanished and roughly 200 miles away from his home in Kremmling, Colorado.

On the evening of Tuesday, police were contacted by a family friend, alerting them of Kitterman’s location. The tipster claimed the missing man had been dropped off at a hotel.

They soon received a report from the owner of a furniture shop that he had been spotted in a Kmart parking lot.

According to Pueblo police, the 53-year-old man said he got tired of watching the game and decided to walk and hitch-hike to Pueblo.

Kitterman has since spoken to reporters, saying he was surprised by all the media attention pertaining to his case. He also said he didn’t watch any television in the days after he left the stadium.
