She invades my thoughts, I know not why.
Now a sentient dweller, in my mind's eye.
She appeared, as if, from the deep depths of time.
And bade me compose parable rhyme.
She spoke of compassion, humility and love.
Of her religious beliefs, and of God up above.
How like Christ she was punished, though free from sin.
Abstrusely sustained by tenets within.
We spoke of the value of personal identity,
And how to achieve supernal serenity.
Of how to take charge of one's body and soul,
And not abandon them to another's control.
We spoke of the virtues of emancipation,
And the degradation of women by male domination.
Though time and distance doth separate,
Through spirit and soul do we interrelate.
Another time, another place, maybe in the beyond,
We shall meet again and form a bond.
