Eric Frein entered court bruised and gaunt.
Seven weeks on the run in the backwoods of Pennsylvania had taken their toll.
The massive manhunt for the accused sniper killer of a Pennsylvania state trooper ended Thursday night with his capture... at an abandoned airport hanger about 100 miles north of Philadelphia.
Now, the 31-year-old survivalist is being held without bail... in the handcuffs of the trooper he's accused of slaying.

"Today we find some comfort as a community that we are taking these next steps towards justice."
Hundreds of law enforcement personnel were involved in the hunt for Eric Frein... It went across state lines and saw residents calling in tips and possible sightings.
But in the end, the man on the FBI's most wanted list was captured largely without incident during a routine sweep of the search area.
