How can someone be hot
but their heart be so cold?
How can someone be feeble
but be fearless and bold?

Is it possible to see
what’s not even there
Is it possible to hear
the stillness of air

Can you speak of a lie
but still tell the truth
Can you be ninety nine
and still have your youth?

Do you have to follow laws
or can you truly not care
Do you have to be cruel
but at the same time be fair

If patience is key
can you last one more day
If God’s number one
Do you know how to pray

Does your life effect you
or do you effect it
Does your mind not remember
or do you just forget
