There's something that I must say to you
I've never had a friend so true.
You came along and picked me up
when I was so down on luck.

You gave me Hope as I drowned in my sorrow
and the courage I needed to reach for tomorrow.
I have survived through that ocean of tears
with you by my side I have conquered my fears.

I believe in angels that's how we came to be.
God knew that I needed you..and you too needed me.

My Friend, Thank you for being here for me...
I love you in my own special way.
My Friend, You have given me destiny
and I thank God for you, Each day.

Sometimes we don't quite understand
The reasoning of His plan.
But there's one thing that I do know for sure
I'm so glad that you are, My Friend
