The one that's twisted and scarred?"
The buyer asked of the landscape man-
"You know, with the trunks all marred?"
"Oh, that one", replied the landscape man -
Has gone through the hurricane's mill -
It's trunks became bent as it bowed down low -
To submit to it's maker's will."
"Tis worth more than all the others because -
It weathered the harshest of winds -
And was thus transformed into beauty beyond -
Those sheltered from what he sends."
