President Obama met with his Cabinet at the White House Friday after word that U.S. job growth increased at a fairly brisk clip in October and the unemployment rate fell to a fresh six-year low of 5.8 percent.

The President also said he plans to talk with congressional leaders over lunch about how to build on current momentum in the economy as well as discuss ideas to increase manufacturing and exports.
