starlight
sediment
settled down
rode every ripple
on the sea
with every word
you spun around
you circled
flowed
and closed
to me
though much
too buried
none uncovered
these sort of bones
lie
in embrace
two beings
crushed
fossilized
lovers
with chiseled detail
lost
effaced
though I would crack
each one in two
and surely pass
this dream and wake
I’ll still hold fast
the likes of you
And spare no slate
nor shard forsake
