A Valentine for Kim

Could we stop the time from flying?
Or recall when it has passed?
Our kindergarten days to
Cut up paper doilies make a
Heart, to secretly pass on to an
Admirer, you could do that,
As permissible on Valentines Day
We all know that.

Since we must lose these graces
As we meet new faces,
we grow Up so fast, and when
spring life Is done, somehow
summer to kick In, as natures
intention to mature until death,
to make us a better person,
love not to regret, As we come into
another Valentines day,
I give this rose to you it shall fade
Away some day, If pressed into
A book, will carry on a fragrance
To last for~ever
