catch me,
but I must
have run
too far,
too fast
because you
never came
when
I needed you.

I tried to make
the return journey,
but I was lost
and all alone.
I couldn't find
my way
back to you.
I looked for the road
to lead me home,
but I became discouraged,
and finally stopped.
